Becky Uranga, MD

 

Dr. Becky Uranga was raised in Montana.  She received a B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of Portland in Oregon.  After college she completed a year of service with AmeriCorps in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.  She then attended medical school at the University of Washington.  Dr. Uranga completed her residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Dr. Uranga’s  professional interests include obstetrics and prenatal care, adolescent gynecology, vaginal and laparoscopic hysterectomy and research related to patient decision making. 
Her time outside work is spent skiing, running, biking, fishing and spending time with her husband (and pediatrician) Mark and their two Australian shepherds.  She is excited to be in Boise where her husband grew up and to work on her Basque!

Dr. Uranga will see patients in our Meridian office in late 2011 and has privileges at St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center.
